Staged homes are also appealing both inside and out, and are more or less ready to be moved into immediately. They do not sit on the market for long at all, yet they bring a top dollar sell. If you are familiar with staged homes - you should know that they are among the fastest selling homes on the market.
It is possible to sell your home quickly without a real estate agent. You will have to market your home. You will have to show it to would be buyers. You can put a sign on the lawn to show it is for sale. You can run ads in magazines and local newspapers with the listing for your home. You let buyers know the home is for sale this way. Since there is nothing to pay to a real estate agent and they don't have to deal with one directly some people prefer to buy homes that are for sale by the owner.
Always make sure the interior and exterior are clean; the lawn should be cut immaculately when selling your home. You will want to make sure the inside is staged the best especially if you are going to continue living in it up until the time it is sold. You want the buyer to stay so you want to give them a good feeling. A buyer will want to see more if the home is visually appealing both inside and out.
In case a buyer expresses the desire to see more of your home, you have probably found your man - the one to buy it. Show genuine interest in the thoughts and opinions of the prospective buyer, rather than trying to pressurize him into buying your home. It will be easier for you to sell your home, if you show a buyer that you care; this way you will also end up in a long and trusting relationship with him!
