When somebody sees a person with beautiful striking white teeth they automatically assume that person is healthy, happy and well kept. This is a view that we would all like others to have of us, and there are some extremely simple ways to help ourselves to achieving that pristine look, by using a teeth whitening kit.
The predominant and most popular types of whitening kits either come in a gel or a toothpaste form. The latter, the toothpaste style ranges are used just as a normal toothpaste would be.
Whitening toothpastes are common and most large toothpaste brands now own a range specializing in this. They work just as any other toothpaste would and are often very good at eradicating any discolouration of the enamel on your teeth.
Whitening kits have become extremely popular in recent years and come available in many different forms and in widely ranging price brackets. They work by filling a rubber mould shaped like your upper and lower teeth, with a bleaching agent, usually in gel form. Some are designed to give results within an impressive thirty minutes but some can be left in overnight, but alas, will not feel very comfortable in your mouth for so long.
There have been a few known side effects for some people who have used teeth whitening kits too much. By submitting your teeth to such high levels of abrasive agents frequently, the natural color of the teeth may shine brighter, but the teeth enamel can become weaker and thus, more painful to cold and heat.
Going down the option of having your teeth whitened by a dentist is a much more expensive but also more effective option. Dentists use whitening kits with far higher levels of the whitening agent called hydrogen peroxide to give lightening quick results. Share on Facebook
