Article 15: Starting the VLCD on HCG

Well...today was my third day on the HCG diet. So it was my first day on the very low calorie diet that accompanies the homeopathic HCG weight loss formula. It was pretty tough to stick to the calorie limitation. But I expected that after all the homeopathic HCG reviews I read before deciding to do it. I also read homeopathic HCG reviews that indicated it was really hard to take in enough water as required by the diet, but now I know what they were talking about. I'm definitely going to have to work on drinking more water.
When I weighed myself first thing this morning (the day after Thanksgiving) I was up one pound. That left me at 171 pounds. My weight always goes back and forth a bit so it didn't surprise me; especially since I've been "loading" for the last 2 days. After I weighed myself I took my HCG drops along with the B-Total drops I bought to go along with the diet. First thing I did was set the kids up with an after Thanksgiving day feast. I had to get rid of all the leftovers that I wasn't going to be able to touch. I tossed everything they didn't eat. That was a relief because having it around would have definitely killed any attempts I had at dieting.
Then I spent the morning drinking lots and lots of water. I couldn't get into any herbal tea even when Isweetened it with flavored Stevia. But I'm going to try another flavor of herbal tea tomorrow. It would be really handy if I could get attached to some herbal tea, but it might be tough since I've never been a tea drinker or herbal tea drinker. But since I didn't get attached this morning I just stuck with water. And I figure that's alright since the homeopathic HCG reviews say that not enough water is an issue a lot of dieters run across.
So by the time lunch rolled around I was starving. From now on I definitely need to make lunch before I'm starving. By the time it was done I absolutely scarfed it down. My kids are home from school for the holiday so it was an added difficulty to make their food (they wanted grilled cheese sandwiches).
But I didn't eat their lunch; I ate my own. It was romaine lettuce with tomatoes, chicken grilled on top of the stove with the use of non-stick spray and Creole seasoning. And I had strawberries on the side. The Creole seasoning was terrific.
For dinner Lisa came over and we made Shake and Bake Tilapia from the HCG Diet Direct Cookbook. It was REALLY great! Even the non-dieters agreed the fish was amazing so it wasn't just because we were hungry. I was able to successfully fit in my 3 doses of homeopathic HCG weight loss formula as well as my once per day B-Total Sublingual vitamin supplement. So I feel like I did pretty well. We'll see if I can keep it up tomorrow.
