Immediately following the start of the school season, it is customary that several campsites become available. So, by making camping reservations, one can avoid the onslaught of those vying for spaces.

A reservation also has to be made in a situation where you need power and water connections. The camping ground has to be notified ahead of time that these link ups might be needed. Then, the camp is given plenty of time to make accommodations in case they did not already have them installed. Also, if anyone in your camping party has a disability, a reservation can see to it that accommodations are made so that those people can be as comfortable as everyone else. Reservations are the key when preparing to have a successful camping trip. Then you only have to relax and enjoy the experience. You can concentrate on reading a book, making smores or even study spanish.
