Brainwave Entrainment uses pulsed or patterned sounds to synchronize your brainwaves to optimized levels. There are a variety of entrainment methods and systems, some of them are incredible. After years of using brainwave entrainment, I've found there are many ways to use this technology. Below I've listed 7 killer ways you can apply brainwave entrainment to live a happier, healthier and more productive life, often in only minutes a day.
- For Relaxation. Obviously, being relaxed is important for your health (and can help limit high blood pressure in some people according to many studies). I've also found brain entrainment programs can help with depression.
- Create Laser Focus & Total Concentration. Find it difficult to follow through? Hard to finish what you start? Get distracted easily? Try relaxing to a good brainwave entrainment program several times a day and you will eliminate a lot of the "noise," tune in to what you are working on and develop the ability to focus and concentrate at will. As things get hectic, keep your entrainment program handy, plug in for a few minutes and get your head clear.
- Become a Master Learner. Eliminate stress (a leading cause of declining memory) and turn your mind in to a memory machine by listening to your entrainment programs. I suggest listening to them before and after you study and before you go to bed. Soon you'll find you retain information much longer and learn faster.
- Get a Great Nights Sleep. If you can't sleep because of tension, because of nagging worries, or just an overactive mind then you are likely to be impressed by what brainwave entrainment can do for you. Just a few minutes a night of entrainment (especially theta wave programs) right before bed and you'll quiet your mind, clear you head and the worries of the day will melt away.
- Supercharge Your Creativity. Before and after any brainstorming or creative sessions or prior to dealing with a challenging problem, spend 15-30 minutes with one of your brainwave entrainment audios. - Fine Tune Your Mind By Programming For What You Want. When I practiced hypnosis, I used to use entrainment audios with clients to help them achieve goals and eliminate unwanted behaviors. The method I suggest is 5 minutes of entrainment where you let your mind drift and get clear of thoughts, 5-10 minutes of goals, affirmations, and reinforcing visualizations, 5 minutes of clear mind with no thoughts. Repeat this 2-3 times a day. You can just say these in your head, buy entrainment programs that focus on the goals or issues you want to address, or record your material over an entrainment program. - Promote a Healthy Body. Whether you are just in to casual exercise or an athlete, entrainment programs are a great way to recover after a hard workout (and you can also use them to mentally rehearse your performance). You'll find yourself refreshed and able to get on with your other activities with minimal fatigue. As noted earlier, using entrainment for relaxation and elimination of stress can have may health benefits. You can also use entrainment and visualization to promote healing and to prevent illness.
