Do You Have Dating Tales?

Very few of us are able to go through life without amassing a list of dating tales, hair-raising stories in some cases that we would all rather forget. However, these tales are a fact of life and help us to prepare for whatever may be ahead in our future. It's important to remember that life is full of experiences and if you do not have negative ones, how you will know when you finally meet the right one?
Trying to meet guys online is very challenging, isn't it? Is his description and photograph accurate? While we have this question in our mind, we nevertheless start to build up a picture of what he looks like. When we actually get to meet, it is almost always a letdown. This is a fact of life when it comes to Internet dating, but it is nonetheless a great way to break the ice to start off with.
I heard one of those dating tales from a good friend of mine recently, who wondered about the sanity of the guy she was with. He went on and on about the good old days as he called them and really turned our evening into one of depression. She tells me that if it was not for his dating tales, she would really have liked to have taken it further.
If you have an overly large stock of dating tales, maybe you should make some preparation for the future. Did you know that smart phone applications these days can be programmed to call your phone at a predetermined time? The call, including caller ID appears to be from a real person and if your date is not going well you can use it so that you are "called away" urgently.
If somebody sets you up with someone who you have never met before, you may well have a good source of dating tales for quite some time. This type of encounter seems to be either perfect or a disaster and you should be sure that you only allow your closest friends to set this up for you.
If you don't like to use Internet chat rooms to try and meet guys, you can nevertheless find some useful resources to help you crack the guy code online. The more of those dating tales that you read, the more that you should tell yourself to start afresh and make something work the next time.
Even though we all get very lonely at times, that does not mean that we should compromise our morals and standards and agree to be with somebody just because of that. Unless the guy fits into your ideal picture you should not try and force a match, or you will have more dating tales than you know what to do with.
If you are upbeat, positive, smiling and outgoing, then you will not be despondent about a nonexistent love life for long. The great guy is out there and he is looking for you when you least expect it.
